What was the motivation for you to partner with Ori Learning?
Trevor Christensen: So the motivation to partner with Ori Learning stemmed from the need to have an online transition curriculum during the COVID 19 pandemic in our district, as was the case with most school districts, we needed to provide virtual instruction and to be honest with you there weren't that many tools and platforms out there. So, doing some research we discovered Ori Learning at the time, it was called ONEDer and from the get go, we really were fond of the programming and everything that was involved with Ori Learning or formally ONEDer And we really enjoyed the product and found it to be a great tool for virtual instruction.
What is your favorite element or feature the of Ori Learning digital platform or curriculum?
Trevor Christensen: So my favorite element or feature of the Ori Learning digital platform to be quite honest were the videos and the reduced language level. So for some of our students with disabilities in our district, it doesn't take too much adapting or modification of the platform for those students to access it. But if I had to pick one, I think it would be the videos and the layout, the layout is very user friendly. Both our teachers and students are very fond of the presentation of the platform and overall really love using it.
How are your students and educators responding to the Ori Learning Program?
Trevor Christensen: So, as I said earlier, I think our educators and staff are really happy and pleased with the Ori Learning program. I think our students like the fact that the instruction can be teacher- led and they can work on it at their own pace, whether it's in the classroom or at home for enrichment learning. I think the flexibility and the multimodal approach of Ori Learning really benefits our students and our teachers. I think everybody here in our district are really huge fans of it.
