Why did you want to do Pilates when first starting with Lisa?
Diane: Hi, Lisa. My reason for starting Pilates was for some me time and to tone my body and learn a different way to exercise without lots of loud music and jumping around.
Describe what you enjoy about Pilates with Lisa?
Diane: My experience has been a good one so far with Pilates and enjoy how I feel. Afterwards, I like the exercises broken down and slowly progressed to do something I thought I could never do. I'm realising at the end that this that I can do this. Our instructor is always there to help us. If we haven't quite grasped the position we should be in to get the full benefit of the exercise we are doing.
For those who may be a little nervous of joining a new Pilates session, what would you say to them?
Diane: It is always a little daunting when you join in a new class or a small group to do exercise. Um, but everyone in this class, I have found has always been very welcoming and friendly, and now we've all got to know each other. Over the years, we do have a little lighthearted banter, and, um, we we enjoy going to the class and and, um, a little before we start and then we concentrate. I prefer the smaller group, but everyone's different.
