Introduce yourself and your business.

David H.: Hi, my name is David Harvey and I own DoodyCalls, pet waste management of Western Connecticut. We started business late 2021. And at the beginning I knew I needed a customer routing system to plan my week for all of my employees to service my customers.

How has OptimoRoute changed the way you work?

David H.: I chose OptimoRoute because it was a preferred vendor for my franchise. I've used OptimoRoute for over a year now and, it takes all the guesswork out of planning my technicians' routes for the week. Every Sunday I go into OptimoRoute and it takes me maybe 10 minutes to plan my week's worth of routing for my customers. So, 10 minutes a week to plan my customers' routes, it's, you know, it's a game-changer.

What are your 3 favorite things?

David H.: My favorite things, my three favorite things about OptimoRoute I would say is the fact that it only takes about 10 minutes a week to plan my routes for my customers. I also love the fact that if one of my employees is sick, I can within, you know, a few clicks of a mouse change that employee's route for the day and assign it to other staff members throughout the week. So that's very easy. I also love that I can see my routes for the day on a virtual map and see where my technicians are in real-time are fantastic features.

How has OptimoRoute made you more efficient?

David H.: Speed and flexibility. So the speed of the OptimoRoute system is instantaneous. We go to select customers, assign them to a technician - it plans the route within less than a second and pushing it out to the technicians. Mobile app also takes about another second or two. And you know, being able to log on wherever and whenever I need to because it's a cloud-based system, having that flexibility is phenomenal. I could be on vacation and still working and planning my technicians' routes for the week because it takes such little time. So these are great features to have about OptimoRoute.

Describe OptimoRoute in a few words.

David H.: If I had to describe OptimoRoute in a few words, I think that would be - saves time and money. Because it takes such little time to plan out my company's weekly routes every single week - that saves me a ton of time and my time is money. And I wanna be able to focus on the things that I'm good at, such as building my business and not have to focus on looking at scratch paper with a pen and trying to best route all of my customers in the state of Connecticut on a daily basis. So, you know, that's, it's a big value add to have as a business owner.
