Why did you choose OptimoRoute for your business?

Stephen G.: Hi, my name is Steve Gordon. I'm the Senior Transportation Coordinator here at Clesen Wholesale. Clesen Wholesale is a wholesale distributor of holiday floral decorations and Christmas wreaths and Christmas garland. We chose OptimoRoute because of the flexibility that it gave us to track our drivers in real-time with precision, accuracy, which was very important to us. I've been the Senior Transportation Coordinator here for 4 years now and OptimoRoute does exactly what I needed to do on a daily basis.

How did you manage route planning before OptimoRoute?

Stephen G.: Before OptimoRoute, we would just use cell phones strictly, calling our drivers every five minutes to find out their location. And drivers would be having to text us their location upon request. And it didn't make for very good, updating to our customers if drivers were running late or not. So, the biggest benefit that we get is that we're able to tell our customers in real-time where the driver is and how he or she is progressing.

How has OptimoRoute helped your business?

Stephen G.: OptimoRoute has helped us in driver satisfaction along with customer satisfaction so that we can tell our customers in real-time where our driver is located, how they're progressing and how long it will take to get to a certain specific delivery appointment without having to call the driver, put the customer on hold, and it just saves a lot of time. The customers have been extremely satisfied with how we've been able to give them real-time updates and not having to wait for information.

How easy is OptimoRoute to use?

Stephen G.: OptimoRoute has been extremely easy for us to use. It's just a matter of logging in and all our drivers, we can clearly see on a map that allows us to tell me, tell us where exactly a driver is at at any moment in time. That's the biggest advantage that we have is that we can tell our customers in real-time where a driver is at. It helps us and it helps the customer.

How important are speed and flexibility for your business?

Stephen G.: OptimoRoute has helped us give information to customers in real-time at a very fast like pace. It also helps us if we have to reroute a driver to a different location instead of the one that he's going to or if he has missed a turn, we can certainly call him on his cell phone, tell him to stop and take a different route, which also helps the driver and helps us and helps the customer to get their product faster.
