Why did you choose OptimoRoute for your business?
Brian R.: Hello, this is Brian Raya with Ivan's Site Services. A little bit about myself. I've been here with the company for going on 3 years now and we chose OptimoRoute for our business because we really appreciated the fact that it has the route optimization algorithm that assists us in planning the routes for our drivers without having to use a lot of manual time and labor in doing so.
How did you manage route planning before OptimoRoute?
Brian R.: So, before OptimoRoute unfortunately, we were very manual and primarily relied on spreadsheets with Excel, in correlation with Google Maps and having to use a lot of time and making sure that the plan was well made. Unfortunately, issues would arise given unforeseen things, such as technical issues and Google Maps sometimes not being as efficient. But once we started using the platform, it was great to have a, a platform where we could manage all of our stops and all of our routes, while simultaneously incorporating the algorithms and the optimization with, assisting with the routes as well.
How has OptimoRoute helped your business?
Brian R.: There's been a lot of optimization that has come through the platform, anywhere from calculating cost and also managing driver performance, being able to audit the route and get down to the nitty gritty on how long it takes to get things done, the differentials in time between orders. And the real-time tracking is really neat too, getting a sense of where the drivers are at at all times. And also, of course, being able to have the proof of the execution stored and always there whenever we need it.
How easy is OptimoRoute to use?
Brian R.: So, the OptimoRoute interface is very clean, very user-friendly. The learning curve, I would say, is a lot more easily attainable than other platforms. It has an Apple-esque feel to it which we definitely appreciate. And overall, we really like the fact that anyone who uses the platform, regardless of the background, can adapt to it quite easily.
How important are speed and flexibility for your business?
Brian R.: We're always looking for ways to maximize efficiency and with OptimoRoute, it's nice to be able to manage all the routes under one platform. The timeline feature which was recently released is very nice as well. It helps improve the time efficiency and planning, organizing structuring routes and for business reasons. It always helps the bottom line when you can find ways to save time and maximize the efficiency.
