Why did you choose OptimoRoute?
Jennifer M.: Hi, my name is Jennifer McAuslin. I'm Director of Donation Center Operations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island and we have been using OptimoRoute for our donation pickup services for the last two and a half or so years and the results have been wonderful. We initially picked OptimoRoute because of the ability to optimize our drivers' pick up routes for for their pickups of donations. And because it would help us sort of geographically, help them plan out their routes as far as time. And while that has been great, I would say the greatest feature that we have found has been the donor notification features. So, our donors, when they schedule a pickup and we put it into OptimoRoute the night before, they do receive a text and an email with a link to track their driver and track their pickup appointment. This has increased our donor satisfaction and it has also really cut down on the theft of donations, which was actually a huge problem for us prior to using OptimoRoute. Folks would see donations out curbside for us and they would take them. If donors live in an area where that's a problem, they now can track the pickup in real time and they can wait until the driver is there to leave their donations out - which makes them happier, it makes us happier, It makes us better able to do our job.
