Kevin Milner : Hi, Optimizers My name is Kevin Milner. I'm the Senior Director of our EPMO or Enterprise Portfolio Management Office. As a team, we at the EPMO are fully committed to helping the business develop its capability with delivering projects and managing change. As part of this, throughout the course of the last 12 months, we've been running a number of Introduction to Project Management training sessions. These covered the fundamentals of project management and also introduce some of the approaches, tools and techniques we at the EPMO use. These trainings were really well received and attended by over 200 Optimizers. In order to follow up on this, Katie Holloway and I are delivering further sessions throughout September with one on the 6th and a further session on the 14th. We'll dive a little deeper into two key areas of project management, stakeholder analysis, and project planning. Getting these activities right is fundamental if you want your project to be a success. It's vital to know which stakeholders to engage, why you're engaging them and what you need them to do to support your project, in order to ensure your delivery is fully adopted. Equally, trying to deliver a project without a clear and fully socialized plan is a fast track to failure. We will go through some of the steps you can take to help you break down what you are trying to deliver into manageable chunks, which will build into your plan.
