New Additions: How many new financial advisors joined our RIA in the past 6 months, and what unique skills or specializations do they bring?
todd resnick: Hello to all my recruiter and consulting friends out there in the world. Hope you're well. This is Todd Resnick president and lead of sales at OneSeven. We've had an incredible past few months, started in the spring. I can't remember the last time we spoke to you, but back in the spring, we brought on uh James Selu who was a really high performing advisor at Edelman Financial. He had an incredible transition and luckily brought over a friend of his Jennifer Shintani who also joined us recently. So we've now brought on two Edelman advisors each managing north of $125 million and they've had incredible experiences and transitions thus far. Otherwise we brought on a young gentleman named AJ who came over from a large bank in uh Utah. He was actually the first advisor to ever leave the bank. So he joined us recently and had a really good process thus far of transitioning over his clients. We've also done some other transitions with Raymond James Financial Services that they have swapped over from RJ FS to RJ CS. So that seems to be an area that we are really starting to build a niche. We've got a great process for bringing over advisors that fall into that space. So I'd have to go back and total it, but we've probably on boarded somewhere north of $300 million in the last couple of months. And really, we've spent the last few months building an incredible pipeline of advisors where we've got some excellent people joining us in the next couple of weeks and then some incredibly special things that we think are going to fall into place heading into 2025.
Advisor Business Development: Any new marketing initiatives this year that will assist our advisors in helping them grow their book?
todd resnick: Marketing and business development is actually something we've been making a huge focus on this year as we move into 2025. My vision for this is that by the beginning of the new year, we are going to be funneling leads directly to our advisors that are part of our special partnership model at OneSeven So that's creating a complete alignment between, between us and the advisers that are joining us. We actually formed a formal relationship with an investment management group out of South Florida called clockwise asset management that has developed an incredible lead generation pipeline and, and strategy and we've actually been beta testing that right now in the last couple of weeks where we're gonna start bringing those leads in directly to our advisors, for them to start taking on those relationships and becoming the, the R MS on those uh clients that are coming through that lead channel. We've, we're in a couple of months formalizing how all of this is going to work. Our hope and expectation is that we're going to be putting 2,3, maybe even 4 of these different strategies into place for our advisors and my ultimate vision is that we get to a point where we're putting 30 40 50 real leads in our advisors laps every single month and helping them close more business.
OneSeven Conference: Can you please expand on our upcoming OneSeven Conference in Nashville. Why is it a can't miss event for OneSeven.
todd resnick: So my favorite and also most stressful time of the year is coming up and that's the OneSeven Life conference. This is our fifth year. It is going to be the best one yet. I'm sure that's what most people want every year is that they just keep expanding it. This year we are in Nashville, Tennessee. It's our first time going outside of the state where I live. So Nashville is one of my favorite places to visit and I think I can't miss sort of destination. So we will be spending three nights with all of our advisors. That can make it, I think right now, we're expecting north of 50 advisors plus spouses to come for three nights. Lots of education, our agenda expanding in terms of the content and the information. We're going to be providing them incredible sponsors that are gonna be there sharing time with all of our advisor and really can't miss experiences. One of the things we want to do is we want to create an event where it's something you can't do on your own. So everybody can go to Nashville, walk into a Honky Tonk, go drink beer, bourbon, eat, tour, things like that. We're doing things that people can't do on their own. And they're not going to be able to figure out how to do unless they're part of OneSeven. So we're really using this as an opportunity to bring our advisor together, build community, create more connection, bring prospects and future advisor to the event so they can feel the energy, feel the commitment and connection that all of our advisers have with one another, let their spouses significant others experience that as well by being part of it and create relationships that bring people back year after year. So I can't believe we're in year number five. And I'm really, really excited to share highlights with you after the event in November.
