Debbie Morris: Hi, my name is Debbie and I live in the Trumble County area.
Why do you like being part of the Center?
Debbie Morris: I've worked at Western Reserve Independent Living Center for the past 16 years. Now. I am the assistant director as well as the financial coordinator. When I first started the job I was brought in as an ILS which is a independent living specialist that works hands on with the consumers. I sat down with them. We went through the goals of what they would like to achieve to live independent best they can however long it took if it would be five minutes, five hours, five months, we completed their goals and I'm Going to tell you to put that smile on that consumer's face seeing that that goal was achieved. There's no words that can even be said about it.
What is the impact of your work?
Debbie Morris: Again, working with the consumers achieving their goals and seeing them live independent best they can is just so heart filling and rewarding.
