Speaker: Iffa Syeda
What was going on in your life and career that made you want to join NLCA?
Iffa Syeda: Before joining the NLCA, I was a home health pediatric nurse. I felt really burned out and didn't feel like I was making a difference. I decided to look into nurse coaching and NLCA and their vision really spoke out to me, so I decided to take the leap.
What made you say yes to becoming a nurse coach?
Iffa Syeda: I said yes to becoming a nurse coach because I was at the receiving end of it where I hired a nurse coach for myself and I saw the tremendous value that it brought to my life. So I wanted to do that for others, and that is the reason why I said yes to becoming a nurse coach.
What has changed for you since certification?
Iffa Syeda: I have seen a lot of positive change in myself as I have joined the certification course. I have found a lot of clarity in where I want to go, what I want to do. I have the tools now to become an excellent nurse coach, so a lot has changed for me and definitely in a positive way.
What are you most proud of?
Iffa Syeda: I am most proud of myself that I took the leap and I decided to join the NLCA because I didn't know if I would get value from it, but even if I did not work a day in my life, the amount of value that this course has given me is just a lot. It, it is simply worth it. So I am very proud that I took the leap. I followed my gut feeling and I joined this certification course.
What would you say to a nurse considering joining Nurse Life Coach Academy?
Iffa Syeda: To any other nurse considering to join this program, Laura and Shelby's course is absolutely amazing. It gives you all the tools and everything that you need to become a successful nurse coach. I would say don't even think about it and sign up right away. This has got to be the best.
