What was going on in your life and career that made you want to join NLCA?

Crystal Trabue: Hi. Uh, what was going on in my life and career that made me want to join the Nurse Life Coach Academy? I, um, I've been a nurse for almost 28 years and done a lot of things, and I've been interested in nurse coaching and what that was all about for quite some time and then I. Started listening to their podcast and learn more about this program and. Just felt like it was the right one for me.

What made you say yes to becoming a nurse coach?

Crystal Trabue: Uh, I said yes to being a nurse coach because it just, it just all worked out. Things fell into place and I've been really drawn to it, even though I wasn't quite sure what a nurse coach even was. I called, I did the, um, the discovery call with Laura. She answered some questions and I just felt like this was the right program. And oh, I am so thankful that I did that. Um, about halfway into my training, I am enjoying it, learning more than I ever thought I would, and also just having so much more self-discovery than I thought I would. Um, it's been a wonderful experience.

What has changed for you since certification?

Crystal Trabue: I haven't, I'm halfway through my training, so I haven't got my certification yet, but what has changed, uh, the way I communicate in general has changed. I've learned so much, so it's really impacted my care as a nurse, but also in communicating with family and friends, uh, it's been remarkable and Even just the way I think about things for myself. I am, I certainly wish I had learned this decades ago, but so thankful I'm learning it now.

What are you most proud of?

Crystal Trabue: I'm most proud of. Saying yes and doing it and putting myself out there and being vulnerable, and learning and growing and putting in the work. Uh, I, I am so glad that I'm doing it, and I know that I will always be glad that I did this.

What would you say to a nurse considering joining Nurse Life Coach Academy?

Crystal Trabue: Uh, what would you say to a nurse considering joining Nurse Life Coach Academy? You know, I am just so glad that I did and I, I am learning more than I ever thought. It's. Benefiting me so quickly in my job and also in my life. Um So, all I can say is, for me, I am so, so, so thankful that I decided to say yes, and, and I was ready to really learn and really jump in. Um. And it's been incredibly valuable valuable.
