Speaker: Shawn, Chief Financial Officer
Please introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Services.
Shawn: Hi, my name is Shawn Bromley. I am the Chief Financial Officer for Northern Human Services and I have been here for two years.
What is the best part about living, working and playing in the North Country of New Hampshire?
Shawn: The best part about living in North Conway and North Country, in the Valley is being outdoors for every season. I'm an avid skier. I love hiking. I run, I love being on the river in the summer. And I just find the seasons are absolutely beautiful in this area. I love my job because of the mission that we have. We support people with mental health and developmental disabilities. We are a dual agency and really doing this type of work, you have to be truly dedicated to the mission that you have and that is to support these individuals to live to their best ability. And to really support them having the best possible outcome for their lives.
What does a typical (or not so typical) day look like for you?
Shawn: A typical day for me as CFO of Northern Human Services, which is a dual agency, is I usually have 10 to 15 items on my list to accomplish, daily. And I might be lucky enough to get two to five done. And that's ok, because every day I get to come in and work with people who are dedicated, just like myself, to the mission of Northern Human Services.
