Please introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Services.

Hi, I'm Celeste. I've been with Northern for almost 12 years. I started out as an administrative assistant I and then II and then I was a medical records auditor. After that, I became the Carroll and Coos County Drug Court administrative coordinator. And now I am currently a finance project coordinator. This episode is about joy at Northern. I have two things that bring me joy and there's more, but for this video, we'll keep it to two. One of them is empowering others. I don't work with direct clients. But I'm able to empower my coworkers. Whether it's technology tricks with zoom meetings, sharing a screen, navigating through the electronic medical record, shortcuts in Excel, things that I'm comfortable with that if they're willing, if they want a trick up their sleeve, I can help them with that. I enjoy helping others succeed in making their jobs easier. I love that. My second thing is when I worked for the Drug Treatment Court, watching the participants work through challenges with their case managers, the therapists, probation, probation officers, then the court staff, it's a roller coaster ride. And throughout the program, they're able to live at home, they're able to hold a job and eventually with their own determination and hard work, they graduate from this rigorous program. Hearing their testimonials at their graduation is heartfelt, very joyful and I'm going to end here before I cry, joyful tears.
