Speaker: Bri, Mental Health Children's Care Coordinator

Introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Services.

Bri: Hi, my name is Bri. I've been at Northern since December 2018. When I first joined, I was an infant mental health care coordinator and now I am a kids care coordinator. I work with kids of all ages across, most of our catchment area and I even have a few adults on my caseload too.

What is the best part about living, working and playing in the North Country of New Hampshire?

Bri: I love living in the North Country because it's so pretty and quiet and beautiful and my whole family lives up here. And I love that we are driving distance to bigger cities if we want to go to bigger cities.

What three words would you use to describe the culture at Northern Human Services?

Bri: The three words that I would use to describe the culture at Northern are collaborative, friendly and welcoming. When I first started at Northern, it was super welcoming. Everybody was so nice. I shared an office with someone when I first started, I didn't even have my own computer and phone and stuff when I first started. But everybody was so kind and just going out of their way to introduce themselves and find out who I was. And even now, six years later, everybody is still so nice and we are always open and kind and nice when new people join and we work very well together. We always collaborate and share resources and share resources and different information that might be useful for use with clients in the community and different things like that. And it just feels like a really good collaborative effort, especially when we have the big meetings where we can all get together and talk. Overall, it's just a very nice welcoming place.
