Speaker: Issy, Mental Health Targeted Care Coordinator

Please introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Services and your thoughts on company culture.

Issy: Hi, I'm Issy. I am a targeted care coordinator here at Northern. I've been here since early February, so just about four months, not too long. But I've seen my mom and my aunt have both worked here probably longer than I've been alive. At least my mom and I feel like I've been privy to the company culture for a while and I think it's honestly a really great place to work. Every Tuesday and Friday, we get emails from our CEO. There's a spotlight on employees that are just killing it and doing great and we celebrate successes and we talk about them and we shared success stories. And then every Friday, our CEO sends words of wisdom, like affirmations, things like that. And personal stories from her life. I think it's a really open environment, people wanting to help each other out. There's a lot of positivity, but we also are real about the difficulties with working in a human services field. But overall I work entirely remotely, but every time I go into an office, if I have to, I feel like I'm greeted with positivity and it's really welcoming. And for the most part, everyone I think loves what they do, even if it's challenging and we all want to help each other out and help our clients out. So I think it's a really great, positive company culture and I, I love it here. So... yeah.
