Speaker: Abigail , Accounts Payable Supervisor
Please introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Services.
Abigail : Hi, my name is Abby. I started at Northern in 2021 as the accounts payable associate and I am now the accounts payable supervisor.
What is the best part about living, working and playing in the North Country of New Hampshire?
Abigail : I've lived in New Hampshire most of my life so being able to still work, live, play in northern New Hampshire, to be close to my family and our beautiful unique seasons is really, really important to me, so, I feel very grateful.
Please share with us an experience that you had while working at Northern Human Services that illustrates your "why?"
Abigail : Being a native to the area that Northern serves has given me numerous occasions to help people in our community that I may have known my entire life. Being a behind the scenes warrior makes me feel like I am supporting those people.
Why does it matter to you to work somewhere with purpose and meaning?
Abigail : Having a family member with cerebral palsy is a very personal topic and he lives far away. So, I'm not able to support directly. Being able to support people locally that I can in any little way. It's very satisfying.
