Please take a moment to introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Northern Human Serivces.
Hi, my name is Denise Davis. I've been at Northern Human Services for about 15 years now. I started as a CCW Coordinator, got promoted to a service coordinator and then now I am a director for self directed services. I think that Northern Human Services has a wonderful work-life balance. It's come a long way in the last couple of years. For example, I am able to work remotely for a few weeks here in Reno, Nevada. I was able to see my new granddaughter, my first granddaughter born and I'm able to work and also see her on nights and weekends. So that's been really helpful. I know that for me, that's been wonderful. I'm a much better person at work and I would also like to extend that same courtesy to my staff. I feel that work-life balance is very important. I have a wonderful team of ladies and feel that when everyone is happy, they're much more productive at work. We have a great work-life balance and I hope other people can join our team. Thank you.
