Andrew S. Ames Fuller: Good morning. My name is Andrew Ames Fuller. I'm the Director of Communications for the North American Lutheran Church. And today is our devotion for Monday of the second week in Advent. December 5th, 2022.

Andrew S. Ames Fuller: Our scripture reading today is from the gospel of John. Beginning in the first chapter in the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
Andrew S. Ames Fuller: Have you ever read today's devotion without the closing prayer? I have. I'm doing it right now. Let me give you some tips. Please wear what you would in a church, professional setting, caller, et cetera. Whatever is normal for you. Pick a quiet and well lit place, relax and be yourself. It doesn't have to be perfect. You can redo your recording if you're not happy with it.
