Eden: I think of storytelling and a bunch of different adventures.

Tyler: Padad: grandfather, a leader, has a killer mustache, and a heart of gold.

Micailah & Jonah: When I think of Padad I think of time shooting rifles in the yard or him telling us about his adventures skiing with Grammy. What about you, Jonah? JJ: To me Padad is someone who doesn't just try and live his life as a good man, but he also tries to live his life as a good, biblical man, and I know that he's always there for me if I need him. Unless he's on a ski trip. but then as soon as he gets back.

Onna : When I think of you, Padad, I think that you are the life of the party. When I think of you, Padad, I think that you are the life of the party. Happy birthday!

Thomas: Military! Motorcycles! Ice cream! Woods! Trampoline! ................... Cabin! Mom! .... Hugs!

Sherie: When I think of Dad, I think of joy of life. Joie de vivre! The joy that he takes in his faith, his family, uh, the beautiful property that went from being a great big family project to now a thriving, beautiful home and, and and land, um, to the joy of finding the right tool for the right job, which when we were young was maybe the right boards to put under the vans to get them out of the mud. Then it progressed to being, you know, panel hacks and a hammer. And finally, you know, now in these days it's gonna be great skis and good ski poles and good ski equipment and all the knowledge that he's been able to put into that. So joy of life!

Christina: So when I think of Padad I think of his faithfulness. His faithfulness to serve, his faithfulness to seek out the truth, to dive deep, and to just really search out an issue. That's Padad. He's faithful to give of his time, his talents, his efforts and his energy. Thank you Padad!

Rosey : Christmas. I think of Christmas.

Nick: How he's trying to always get involved with everyone and he always makes sure everyone's included. And also the "POP!" and he always makes sure everyone's included. And also the "POP!"

Sarah Beth & Iris: When I think of Dad I think of him smacking his stomach and saying, "I'm so strong!"

Hannah: When I think of Padad I think of a loving, hard working family man who puts God first. Love you Padad!

Ava & William: What comes to mind when I think of Padad is him smiling and sort of what Abraham means: father of many peoples. I think of him sitting on the stone fireplace and singing with all of us and I just, it's sort of like he's the father to everyone, and I love him and happy birthday to him! Yeah.

Ellie: Him saying to me, "Ellie Jelly Belly!"

Kevin & Levi: I love him! When I think of dad, I think of building the next generation.

Amelia: I think of his tractor trailer and his goatee!

Charity & Michael: The importance of family time. It's a good one. A great example of how to be a man and build a family.

Joy: Um...A good father who loved me everyday, and twice on Sundays! Um...A good father who loved me everyday, and twice on Sundays!

Daniel, Emmett & Hope: He may not be bulletproof but he is bullet resistant. Emmett, say, Padad. Good job. Work hard, play, hard and open, warm hospitality.

Cece: I think of Padad as a big, loving father, especially to my mom, and I and I wish he has a happy birthday! And he just reminds me so much of my dad. And he just reminds me so much of my dad.

John: Fittingly when I think of Padad, I think of the, uh, legacy he leaves with, I think nearly 50 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. But also think of some of his stories about rafting the river in Tennessee as a child. Appropriately enough, I've got the Chattahoochee River in the background and across the river, of course Alabama where a lot of the Liphams settled. We love you, Padad, appreciate your love and support for all of us throughout the ages and you leave a legacy for generations to come.
