Speaker: Monica M. Farley, MD, NFID President-Elect
Monica M. Farley, MD: Hi, my name is Monica Farley. I'm the President-Elect of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and also on the Program Committee for this year's Annual
Monica M. Farley, MD: Annual Conference on Vaccinology Research
Monica M. Farley, MD: Or ACVR.
Monica M. Farley, MD: I'm often asked who should attend the ACVR conference and because it's such a unique meeting that has something for everyone, anyone interested in vaccines and vaccinology, it really has broad appeal, and that includes the basic scientists, clinical researchers, Including those who are involved in clinical trial work, vaccine manufacturers, those who focus on public health and policy, and very importantly, the critical healthcare providers whose focus is implementation of vaccine recommendations.
Monica M. Farley, MD: ACVR is different from most other vaccine conferences because of its cross-cutting content and it really goes from very sophisticated science and innovation, to study of vaccine safety, which is a very important area, policy and vaccine acceptance, um, also updates on vaccines in the pipeline. So it's got broad appeal, but there's also an emphasis on opportunities for young investigators, including opportunities for networking and identifying future mentors.
Monica M. Farley, MD: So in short, the NFID 2026 Annual Conference on Vaccinology Research is an outstanding interdisciplinary meeting with broad appeal. It has high quality speakers, oral abstract presentations, expert panel discussions, and opportunities for young investigators. It's not to be missed. This year, it is online only and there is no registration fee. So sign up today and I hope to see you there.
