Chris Wilson: Hi, I'm Chris Wilson. I'm the Director of Software Engineering at Navix. We're a startup in the logistics and freight tech space. We've been working with Newance for about a year and during that time, they've helped us fill several software engineer and software developer roles.
Chris Wilson: Newance has been a great partner for us as they've helped us fill various roles. I feel like they've been almost an extension of our own HR department. We can go to them with whatever requirements we have and they always come back with some really solid candidates.
Chris Wilson: Newance has helped us more than once when we've been in competitive situations with candidates and candidates multiple offers. Newance has been really good at talking to those candidates, hearing what else is going on, and then working with us and really helping us make sure that we are putting forth the strongest offer that we can for that candidate, helping us kind of brainstorm, some creativity into those offers and making sure that, ultimately we're able to get the candidates that we really like.
Chris Wilson: Newance has been a great partner for us. We've worked with several individuals and several different recruiters over there. They've all been very attentive to our needs, provided us with great candidates and especially as a startup where things change they've been very patient with us as we evolve a little bit as a company and as our hiring needs change. One of the things that really strikes me is we've tried recruiting a little bit directly on our own, you know, going out to Linkedin and posting jobs on our website and things like that. And we end up with just such a huge volume of candidates and relatively low quality candidates a lot of the time. And it's just pouring through hundreds of resumes and there's a few good ones in there, but there's just so much to filter through. And it really gives me, having gone through that a little bit, gives me an appreciation for what Newance does and the way that they're able to really find that needle in the haystack and take away all that noise and just send us these really high quality candidates without us having to do all of that leg work and sifting through hundreds and hundreds of resumes on our own. So it's been a great, great experience all around.
