Casey Green, BSN, RN, CCRN, CTRN, CFRN, CEN, TCRN, CPEN: Hello. I'm Casey Green. I'm one of the nursing adjunct faculty at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. I also graduated from Howard Community College in 2014. Why do I like being a nurse educator? For me, it's simple. I love giving back to the next generation of nurses, and teaching them in the clinical arena all the things that I wish that I would have learned when I was in nursing school. It's always so amazing to go out and see them when I take other students were clinical, and also seeing that the learning and zest for education that they have. And I also really, really love seeing the aha moment of a student when they finally grasped that concept or clinical skill that they couldn't understand or grasp previously. So for me it's easy. I love the next generation of nurses and I know that I'm going to work with them in the hospital setting.
