What is your motivation for and why are you applying to serve on the NACE Board of Directors?
Charles Jennings, Jr.: Greetings. For the past few years, I will have to say that I have encountered much success in my current role as a director here at North Carolina Central University and the Korean Professional Development Center. And I have to contribute that success to everything that N has taught me in regards to being a strategic career services director. Um through my involvement with N through the town halls, through the professional development, through the workshops, through the sessions at the conference, I have enhanced my competency and skills to the point where I can say that everything that I've achieved in my current role at North Carolina Central has been a direct reflection of what I've gained from my amazing professional association. I'm a better person. I'm a better career services, thought leader. I'm a better leader of others. I'm a better mentor to others because of Nathan's na's involvement in my life. With that being said, that's my direct motivation. My reason why I want to serve on the board. Um There's been so much that NA has done for me. Um so much that N continues to do for me that I want to continue to serve um in that capacity for the association. And I must say, as someone that has been a member of N A since 2014, the organization has changed so much. It has done so much more for our profession. It has done so much more for our community. It has done so much more for the industry, for the world. We are now considered uh one of the greatest um organizations to give um thoughts to others regarding workforce development. What's going on with the employment community, what's going on with um our college students who are seeking employment? So for it to be a um the organization that it is, I want to be a part of what nice is now and where it is going. So for that reason that that alone is why I want to be a part of the board um and my motivation behind applying. Um And I hope that you all consider my um application to serve.
