Speaker: Meredith Carr, Associate Director, University Recruiting, Grant Thornton

Briefly describe your program, the outcomes or impact, and what others can take away from it.

Meredith Carr: At Grant Thornton, we welcome 800 to 1000 interns each year across multiple service lines and locations. Historically, our orientation experience was fragmented. Interns were navigating multiple systems, inconsistent communication, and unclear expectations during one of their most critical onboarding moments. To solve this, we leveraged Intrepid as a centralized technology-enabled onboarding hub, bringing together orientation schedules, training content, resources, and communication into one intuitive guided experience. Through embedded analytics, interactive learning, and real-time feedback, we created a more engaging experience. And the result? We saw 92% platform adoption, stronger engagement across required activities, and a measurable increase in intern confidence and clarity from Day 1. Our key takeaway: By designing with intention, leveraging interactivity and scalability, you can create a consistent, high-quality experience across locations while still meeting the needs of your learners. Thank you to NACE for this incredible recognition.
