Félix V. Matos Rodríguez: Career services is a place of exploration is a place where your dreams come true where you find the tools to be able to discover what you might wanna do professionally in life, what things motivate you, and what are the tools you need to be able to get that internship, that next opportunity, that job that would allow you to fulfill your dreams and advance your career career service is where the outside world of employment meets the great talent that we have in all of our CUNY campuses.
How do you support the career services office?
Félix V. Matos Rodríguez: campuses. We support the career services offices in many ways. One is by bringing talent employers from the outside to connect with our campuses so they know where the talent that CUNY has is available for internships, for job postings and all of that. We also are bringing the best technology so. career service offices can provide you with the best tools so you can know how to write a resume, a cover letter, prep for an interview, explore possibilities about your own personality and your future. We want our students to have the access to the very best in all our career services offices.
What does receiving this award mean to you and to the City University of New York (CUNY)?
Félix V. Matos Rodríguez: services offices. Well, this award is really an award to the entire career service community at CUNY. We have so many dedicated professionals working with our students, making their dreams come true, answering their questions, helping them navigate the different difficulties in getting internships, finding a job, doing their resume, all those questions. So I wanna say thank you to that entire CUNY community who's working on behalf of the students. I have your back. We're committed to the success of each one of our students, and we could not do it without the great support, professionalism, and dedication, all the stuff that we have in our career services office, and I just wanna be part of their team and help them help our CUNY students.
