Speaker: Alissa Friedman, US Early Career Recruiting Leader, GE Aerospace
Briefly describe your program, the outcomes or impact, and what others can take away from it.
Alissa Friedman: When the LIFT Summit, Leaders Innovating Flight for Tomorrow, was born at GE Aerospace, I knew we were building something special. It came at a pivotal time, as we were finding our footing as a stand-alone company, and were looking for new ways to identify our next generation of innovators. Now in its 3rd year branded as such, the LIFT Summit has diversified our early careers pipeline, expanded our brand reach, and continues to showcase our employee pride in our mission to invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely. The LIFT Summit is a 3-day conference for about 80 university students to learn about GE Aerospace and how we are advancing flight for future generations. Students experience our company, culture, community, products, and people, and are the first interviewed for roles in the coming year. The LIFT Summit reflects how we work and who we are, and we're so proud to have it, and our company recognized by NACE with the 2026 Recruiting Excellence Award for Large Employer.
