Speaker: Salma & Cloe

When I think of Micah I think....

Salma & Cloe: When we think of Micah, we think of his laugh. We also think about how he brought all of us together and was just down to do anything.

Robby Hughes: the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Micah is definitely his laugh and his smile come in. I just remember it so vividly. Like that giggle he would do and then like whenever someone would say something funny, he'd just be like smack his knees super hard. I don't know. That's probably the first thing I think about when I think about Micah and I'm missing Micah. It's just that laugh and that smile is so contagious and um, he was, he just had such a positive energy about him and it was just definitely light up a room like everywhere he went. It was super fun to be around, you know, so I just really missed out that laugh and that smile.

When I think of Micah, the first thing that I think about is his laugh and I can hear it so clearly is insane anytime I think about him, which is a lot. That is the first thing that comes to mind and I can just hear it like he's right next to me and it just always puts a smile on my face.

Casey schmitt : I think of Micah, I think of a loving person, a funny person and just an absolute joy to be around and I love him so much.

Ty Bruton: When I think of like think of someone who was just everybody's friend, no matter who you were, if he knew you a lot or a little, didn't matter he was your friend. He described a kid in so many ways, but I just like to say he was a good Jane one dude, no matter what to anybody.

Dean Tropp: When I think of Micah, I think of a genuine, loving, carefree spirit. He was just a dream to coach. Uh, he would dance in the team room, he'd be dancing on the sidelines at practice and what a fierce competitor he was. Um, he's just one of a kind.

Christian Hughes: When I think about Micah, I think about all the good times and the good memories and I think about trying to live the way he did and living life to the fullest and treating everyone with kindness.

Savannah Eagle: I should have crazy, positive, caring, selfless, perfect I'm going, that's my leg, every concentrate you can be done.

Mariana Hughes : Um, he spent a lot of time with our family and with our boys and Izzy and um, he was just such a joy and when I think about it, it's like how come in all of those years, I mean, and all the like road trips and all the sports practices and games and playing at the house and everything. I never once saw Micah grumpy not once. I mean that's exceptional and that just speaks to the joy that he had for life and the joy that he brought to all of us and all the kids. Um he just lit up our lives and our hearts.

Zac Bulgin: It's really hard to narrow this down to just one thing. Um, so I'll say a couple. Number one when I think of Micah, I think of a good friend, that guy was just a good friend to everybody. He showed everybody what a friend and a person is supposed to look like. Number two, his style, that dude could wear anything and pull it off. Number three, his athleticism, you know, as a, also somebody who played sports and getting to grow up along with him, you know, watching from afar, I looked up to him for sure. Um, so those are the first three that come to mind.

Kelly Christensen : When I think of Micah, I think mostly about peace, I think he was really peaceful person and he was at peace with himself and his job and his family and his friends. And I just think he had a really peaceful aura about himself that I'm glad he had actually, and I think sometimes he's really goofy, almost like a male airhead, but I think that that's how he looked sometimes, but he was really smart and he got good grades and I don't know if people know that about him, but he was really smart. That's it.

Isabel Hughes: When I think of Micah, I think of another little brother. I think of the best friend that he was to rob. I think of coming home, especially when my family, all of us were under one roof and hearing him and rob crack up so hard and I think about how he would enter a room and greet everyone with so much sincerity every single time.

brittany eakes: around when I think of him and then also just so random. I don't know what we were talking about, but I just remember his response like silly, you know, I can't hate anybody and then like going on about something and that always just like resonates with me because like, Micah really couldn't hate anybody. And it's like whenever I think of like getting upset at somebody or something, I always just go back and think of Micah and like how he would react to things and like what would he do in a situation like this? But the main two things that come to mind when I think of him are his silly little laugh and how he just had the most caring heart and literally couldn't didn't have like a mean bone in his body.

Ronnie steve Micah Cathy and I dearly love you all. I think my lasting memory of mica and it will last forever was the fact that he never had a frown on his face, never had a frown. And he always said, I love you. I think that's the last thing he ever told me behind the grill one night on a family get together and he said, I love you, pop.

Garrett: When I think of Micah, I think of somebody you can't be mad at. No matter how hard he tried to annoy you or is being annoying, you just couldn't be mad at him. You just end up laughing with him.

Lance Christensen : When I think about Micah, I think about whenever he would greet you, he'd have that big smile on his face, he'd have that little laugh, he'd give you a big hug and just made you feel like you were so important.

Sadie Eagle: When I think of Micah, I think of his goofy personality and that there was a smile on his face everywhere he went.

Bob Hughes: Um, but especially the moments that are our boys shared as lifelong friends, um, Micah was so special to us and he had that amazing ability and gift of his personality and the way that he lived his life where he was able to release the stress and lift the weight of the world off of our shoulders whenever he was around. Um, specifically on our trips to Sedona where we all lived together, six of us in, in a space of a motor home, which is about 20 square feet And you really get to know people in that space of the, of the motorhome over that week long trip to Sedona. One of the things that I'll remember forever is we would always stop at cracker barrel and we would uh have breakfast and Michael would always be fascinated with the little glass bottles of syrup that they would bring you with every order of pancakes. So he would always ask the waitress for more and when she would look at him and say, how many do you want? He would be like nine and then he would sit there at the table and either drink them all or take them on the road with us. Um, so that became the tradition and we had great times there where Micah, um, specifically on a trail known as the ice hike, um, would light up our collective lives with his antics over the ice. Um, and always making sure that everybody had the very best time and befriending everybody on the trip, Even the strangers that he did not know on the trail because that's who he was. Um, so we uh, love you all dearly. Um, I want to leave you with a quote that I often use from the Bible as proverbs 1717 that says that a friend loves at all times, but a brother is born of adversity. And I know this is an adverse situation for all of us and it's minuscule for us compared to what it is for you all, but just realize that we are our collective family and we are brothers and we're here for you always, we love Micah. He will always be that gift that keeps on giving. Um, I think about him daily and I

Victoria Caro: When I think of Micah, I think of the word home not in the physical sense of East Lake, but in the sense that you can always come to Micah after years, days, hours, even minutes and you'll be welcomed with open arms. Um, you'll always have a ear to

Ricky Tibbett: When I think of Micah, I think about the most random outfits and the shortest of shorts that he would always wear and the great and most loving person that I'll ever know, and all the random times that he would have together, and I always remember how much fun it would be just being around him.
