Isabel Hughes: As far as memories with Micah, I can think of a lot because he was always around growing up. One memory specifically that I hold close to me is one time when he and my brothers and probably eight of their friends were at the house and my best friend and I were probably 13 at the time. They were probably like nine or 10. We decided it would be a good idea to teach them dances and choreography. And I just remember Micah owning that dance floor, being so down for it, spinning around and just being so unapologetically himself as always. And that's something that I will always admire about him and that I will always strive for.

Savannah Eagle: Um, him begging to be a bridesmaid in my wedding. Everyone knows this story, but it's my favorite offering himself to wear a dress. Um, we always did crazy car rides. That was one of our favorite things to do. Even if we had nowhere to go, let's just play our music and drive around East Lake. Um, I think there's like a million.

Ricky Tibbett: one of my favorite memories with Micah would be in Georgia, where we stayed a week together in the same hotel room in july 4th july 4th weekend. And he, we decided to go light fireworks. And it was Micah's greatest idea to go light some fireworks directly at the Mcdonald's right across right across the street from us. And we lit up, we lit up the firework and we pointed right at the Mcdonald's and exploded right over the Mcdonald's and and the cops. We never got caught. But like, the cops came and they were like, looking for the who did it and they never, they never caught us in the end. But it was, I can only remember the rush that I had running with Micah and running back to the hotel because we knew it was just the wrong thing to do, but it was just just so much fun.

Christian Hughes: I remember when we were in Sedona on a family vacation, one time we were on a hike and Micah decided that it would be a good idea to try to cross a frozen creek to get the huge icicles that were hanging off a little cave on the other side. And I remember he started laying on the ice and waddling across and it just made everyone laugh. And it was such a great memory, and I remember it clearly to this day.

Bob Hughes: Another quick memory of Micah. Um what I used to love was on any given saturday when Robbie would come home, it meant that Micah would come home and he was the one person that never had to knock on the door and I'd be sitting on the couch drinking a beer. And I just hear this giggle. And then, hey, how you doing? And he always came up and gave me a big hug and a handshake and then laugh. Um, so that those were great Saturdays.

Sadie Eagle: that sticks out the most is that one time, Sav couldn't pick me up when I was like a freshman Sav couldn't pick me up from school from cheer practice, and Micah literally came and picked me up and took me home to my house, which was literally across the street. Like I could have walked home, but Micah insisted on coming and picking me up. So he did and he picked me up from school. And I don't know, it's just he was my big brother.

Robby Hughes: But um one that I don't even know if I brought up yet, but that I think is super funny is that um one time me, him and Zane went to the Del mar fair to watch the horse races and this was at the time when Micah wasn't really working. So he was kind of living off like 20 or 40 bucks and like he would stretch it across weeks and his gas tank would be on E for days and days in a row. And that thing, I don't know how he didn't run out of gas ever. But we went up to the Del mar Fair, we're hanging out having a good time and he's on his last 20 or 30 bucks or something, I can't remember. And his gas tanks on all the way on E. And he was like, all right, we're either going to get gas and make it home or I'm gonna throw this money on this horse and we're gonna see what happens. And then there's like one minute left before the betting closed and he ran, he like decided he's gonna put it all on this horse. So he runs from where we're sitting like at the field level um at the races, goes to the to the counter puts it all in this one horse and we're like, oh my gosh, we're either walking home or this horse is gonna cash and we're gonna have a great night. And of course that crazy luck, Micah had the horse cashes. he wins, and me, him and Zane are just losing our minds like on the field level at Del Mar, just because we don't have to like walk home anymore, and we're gonna have, Micah went off like 280 bucks. He was like, it's gonna be a great night, We're gonna have a blast.

it's hard to pick. Just one memory that comes to mind when there's so many. And I could probably spend hours talking about all of them and all the funny times we had together. But one of my favorite memories of Micah is um one time, I think it was freshman year of high school, we had to do a project on Lord of the flies and our group hadn't finished the project in class, so we needed to go to someone's house to finish it and so we ended up going to Micah's house um when he lived in the culdesac. And um it was like a sunday morning and Ed and carol were at church and we were working on the project and Micah's was like, oh are you guys hungry? And we're like like sure. And he's like okay, I'm gonna call my grandma and asked her to bring back Mcdonald's and we're like okay cool, whatever. And then he calls carol and he's like, hey grandma, can you bring some food for me and my friends? And carol being the sweetheart. She was like, of course. And she's like, what do you want? And Micah was like um we'll have 30 30 Mcmuffins and all of us are like what, like who's gonna eat all these, we don't need 30 he's like yeah we need 30. So you end up getting like 30 Mcmuffins. Like 10 hash browns carol comes back with all the food and I think there's only four people in our group between us. Me and the two other people probably had like three of the Mcmuffins are four, and Micah had like the other 26 all of the hash browns and an entire jug of apple juice. And I don't know that one. Just, just I just always think about that when I think of him.

Zac Bulgin: this question is hard. Um Growing up in different states made it hard to be together obviously. So um memories are few and far between, but I'll never forget when I came and visited um san Diego, It was later on in high school um and you know it was a weekend and he had plans with all his friends, there was a birthday party and he could have easily left me out of it. Um You know it's it's weird to bring your friend from another state along to something where everybody else knows each other, but he didn't even hesitate and he introduced me to all his homies at the house right away and he made sure that that we were all hanging out and then when we went to his friend's party he was introducing me, oh this is this is my cousin Zac, this is my cousin guys, this is my cousin Zac and you know I was obviously having fun but I just was like man this guy is unbelievable, he's so selfless and so fun to be around and you could just tell everybody loved him and that memory sticks out quite a bit.

Garrett: What one of my favorite memories with mike was when we were in PB. Or before he went to P. B. He's like, hey, can I borrow a sharpie? Like, yeah, okay. He said I'm gonna sign some girls titties tonight. Said, all right, man, you do you? And he did sign some titties, but the only titties signed were chucks.

Jake Carreon: So it was our first night as like sophomores or at least like moving into our apartment over at S. D S. U And they took my bed or at least like just like my like bed mattress and they put it in the shower and I don't even remember where I was. But Micah was sleeping just like on a bare metal frame, just socks on pants on everything, just a pillow and a blanket covering him. And it was honestly probably like the greatest thing and like the greatest video I've ever seen in my life, it literally just had me like crying, laughing.

Victoria Caro: But I took Micah to watch his ex favorite player, Trey Turner um play on the Dodgers against the Padres at Petco just to rub it in his face. And um I remember he even came late because he came after work and came and sat down and I had gotten them on the Dodgers side just to rub it in his face even more. And we were surrounded by Dodgers fans and he was, he was trying to keep it quiet, he didn't want to pick any fights so he didn't want to cheer too loud for the Padres one time he just like let it slip and of course all the dodger fans around us kind of like ripped him a new one almost. But all Micah did was laugh and be like, you know what? You know what? You have a fair point, you have a fair point and in true Micah fashion he made everybody around him fall in love with him because of the way that he made them feel. And there's actually a couple of people that I still keep in touch with from that game dodger fans and they talk about how much they miss Micah's smile and energy even to this day which I think is a testament to who he is because that was what one game and they still remember him.
