Harry Wolff: The identity and access management team or IAM for short is the first thing that every user sees when they access Atlas. We own the registration and login experiences and we empower users to give their team access and permissions to collaborate and build any type of application they desire. We're responsible for the success of every service to service request that happens in our service oriented architecture with our authentication service powering all authentication required for inter service communications. Simply put, without IAM there wouldn't be an Atlas cloud.
