Video Transcript

Speakers: Jessica Delph, Food content creator

What inspired you to become a food content creator?

Jessica Delph: Well, I love cooking. Cooking is how I express my love and joy. anyway that I could extend that connect with people and share that that's that's my way of doing it

How is using Mixo different from other content platforms like youtube, instagram or tiktok?

SeonKyoung Longest: I've been doing this social media career for over 10 years now, and there hasn't been no one social media that was focusing on food.

SeonKyoung Longest: and when you go into the Tiktok and instagram, it's just random stuff from food to to who lost, who lost in the island or to the beauty to like a bunch of different random stuff that you cannot focusing on one thing.

Dami Lee: I like this part of the way that it's specialized because like for me, if I post anything that's not like a comic on my own instagram, immediately like the engagement goes down, people are confused like why I'm posting something that's not comics. So it's nice to have another platform that's like specifically for food.

Matthew Maynard: So it's definitely a community that like people who aren't just like producing content to produce content, but they're making content because like they love it and they're interested

Christine Lee: Like instagram or Tiktok within itself. editing sometimes it's not the easiest if it's for like, recipes. So I would use other video editing apps for it. And so like going back and forth between

Christine Lee: So it would take maybe like two hours sometimes.

Christine Lee: Um But then with mixo, so I would say it cut down probably by half because it was pretty easy to just kind of clip the part that I needed.

How is Mixo a game changer for food content creators?

Nancy Cho: I loved that I didn't feel rushed, you know? especially with Korean recipes, they can be pretty involved. And so I didn't feel rushed that I had to cut out like half of a recipe into one minute, right?

Matthew Maynard: When I'm trying to make an instagram video or a Tiktok video, I feel like really rushed where I don't get to really explore and show the process of making the food. I thought with using mixo, it allowed me to go deeper and be more purposeful in my steps and how to make the dish and share the, I guess, the beauty of the process.

Jisung Chung: I really appreciate it because I've been wanting to create a video for a long time, but I just never really wanted to be bothered with putting the subtitles and whatnot. But I think mixo made it very easy to doing the shooting and the editing very easily.

SeonKyoung Longest: People are looking for more food contents, like the recipes or the restaurant or anything that's something different to look at from different, different countries. People love it, but there's no social media focusing on that. So that's why I feel a lot of, huge potential about mixo. That's why I choose mixo.
