Brisbee
Please tell us about your experience with Misty's Toy Aussies.
Mandy: Hi, my name is Mandy and this is Brisbane. AKA Brisbee our Toy Aussie from Misty's Brisbee is always on the go. So I wanted to do this video because it was very helpful to us when we were looking for a puppy to actually be able to go through the testimonials that were on Misty's website. They were chock full of a lot of great stories and good information and we found them very helpful in the process. So that's why I wanted to put this video together. So we had been looking for an Australian Shepherd, a Toy or Mini mostly in the South, which is where we're from. But we were on vacation in Michigan and I just happened to think I'm just going to look in the area and we found Misty's website and Misty's website I have to say is like no other website I have ever seen for you know, this breed. and frankly any other website I've seen for any other breed. It just had a lot of good information and you could tell that Misty really cared about the puppies. She named the puppies. You know, she's got all the personality profiles, all the videos of their progress, you could see them at four weeks and at six weeks and at nine weeks and see them interact with other puppies and with her and her husband. So you could really get a sense of the personality of the puppies and whether or not you thought they might be a good fit for your family. But we had lost a 16 year old and a 14 year old dog within months of each other this last Spring and Summer and were really kind of broken hearted and when we found Misty's website I just kind of knew that this is the person that was my you know original puppy Mom and looking through, I was disappointed because it looked like it had a really long waiting list and there were no puppies that were currently available, so I would tell you that, don't at all be afraid of the waitlist because the next day I looked back at the site and there was what Misty calls a Kismet puppy available and a Kismet puppy is a puppy that has or had a home lined up and for whatever reason it didn't work out. And our Brisbee was that Kismet puppy. So I reached out, applied instantly reached out to Misty and heard back from her. I think I submitted the application like 10pm and heard back from her in the morning letting me know that Brisbee was ours. So we have been very happy with him, he is just a very sweet little pup, very curious, has a lot of energy is very well adjusted, has been great with our children, has been great with other dogs, doesn't bark at other dogs just is very curious to kind of meet new friends and so it's been such a good experience that we are actually in line to get a brother or a sister for Brisbee, even though, you know, we got him in July and it's only October, but we kind of figured we would get another dog so that they could grow up together. We could do training at the same time, we thought there'd be a lot of benefits to having two at the same time if we could survive the puppy stage. But you know, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Misty if you have questions, she's been very helpful, you know, even after we brought Brisbee home, I would shoot her a text or ask her a question and even just shoot her kind of an update on how he's doing. and she was always so great and so supportive, so I would say that the process doesn't end once you pick up your puppy, I think you are then part of the Misty family going forward, and there's a lot of great online support. And just, you know, an online family as well of folks that have one puppy from her two puppies, three puppies, sometimes four puppies. So it's a very kind of close knit community who's there as you're kind of raising your kids together. So that's my story and I appreciate you listening and want to wish you the best of luck with your puppy journey
