Speaker: Jacqueline Baker, Ringo
Ringo
Tell us why you chose Misty's Toy Aussies.
Jacqueline Baker: My name is Jacqueline Baker and this is Ringo. He is about eight months old. For misty and choosing her, and why we decided to go with her... Overall we just thought the process was like very seamless. I've had family dogs before but this is my first of my own first time working with a breeder so it was great getting to see someone who was so willing to answer all of my questions, and I had a lot of them because I wanted to make sure everything was good. It was great. She let us Facetime Ringo ahead of time which was really nice. Just getting to make sure he was the little nugget that we want, which he was, he's such a sweetie. Just overall like the communication was great. She made it like as least stressful as possible, working, we did a delivery, everything was done seamlessly. Just I've already recommended her to family and friends. I'd recommend her again I you know potentially get another dog from her in the future. Ringo came to us already peepad trained which was great - my parents loved that too. Just overall we had a really good experience. We've worked with my family's worked with other breeders in the past and as the words from my Mom "Misty is the creme de la creme" just absolutely just wonderful to work with and so organized. What else nervous for adopting online. I definitely - it was kind of fast for me I saw this similar breed in my building and started doing some research and ended up finding Misty within 24 hours and within two days finding Ringo and putting a deposit down. Just if you're nervous, I'd say ask all the questions you have, I always have a ton of them and they always come like in waves. so her being so quick to answer and so willing to work with me and Facetime and just answer questions and stay in contact was really helpful. I just kind of adding onto that like exceeding expectations and just like making sure that you know, it's a good breeder. She stays in contact after the puppy has been dropped off and still checks in on them every once in a while and she's good about following all of them and their pictures. but just you know, we could tell that he was very well loved and well taken care of when he got to us, it took him a day to open up after his like scary travel day. But after that he was just this bouncy bubbly personality. My parents were like, I can't believe how fearless he is, she must have loved him so well. I love following along with her future puppy updates and all the babies that she has and sending pictures of my little nugget who's so sassy but so well behaved. You know we've tried to do some training, but honestly, he just is wonderful as is, and I get compliments from my family and friends on how well behaved he is, how smart and sweet he is. And she was able to let us know if the puppy would be good in an apartment or needed a house or anything that. We were a little nervous about and I just couldn't recommend her enough and Ringo and I love staying in touch. A great experience overall.
Did you enjoy the process?
Jacqueline Baker: I definitely enjoyed the process with Misty as I said in my previous video she was super organized, super well with communication. I was able to get all questions answered above and beyond. Especially being able to Facetime with him just to kind of the last step of assurance that he was the one we wanted. The delivery was pretty seamless. She again obviously has done this before but had everything so well organized. So while obviously I was worrying about my little baby getting delivered, there really was nothing to worry about. I got pictures throughout the day, updates from the flight nanny, pictures when he was dropped off to my Dad and she still checked in on him to make sure he was feeling okay and doing well. So just definitely a great experience overall was awesome being able to get the delivery. Yeah, I just, I definitely really enjoyed it. I definitely felt supported, I still do feel supported. I've had a question pop up, maybe like a month or two after I got him and she was still able to get right back to me, answer any questions, give me any advice. Her website is super comprehensive and has been able to answer a lot of questions too and just nice to be able to go back and have so that's also another level of support that I feel like she definitely outranks some other breeders. Just really nice to have a lot of information there to use as needed. But yeah, definitely loved it. The pupdates are great, definitely recommend following her Social Media. And if you do get a puppy, the Facebook pages makes me smile every time I see people post.
Would you recommend us to others?
Jacqueline Baker: Yes, I would definitely recommend Misty to anyone looking for a sweet little pup. I've already recommended her to all my family and friends. I forward them the available puppies whenever I get them to my email. Again just knowing how well the process went, how seamless everything was, how the communication was great, how she checks it on them, how just Ringo is. It was a really good process and it made me very comfortable with getting my first dog. So yeah I definitely recommend her to others. I would come back to her in the future if I do decide to get another pup down the line. It's great seeing all the pictures and all the all puppy siblings and their siblings all over the place and the meetups and stuff. But yeah I just again it was such a great process and obviously we're very very pleased with Ringo and how everything turned out. So we would definitely consider getting another pup when the time comes from her as well as recommend her to others.
What would you tell someone who is nervous to adopt online from us?
Jacqueline Baker: I would tell someone who is nervous to adopt online just to ask all the questions - and you can take a day or two to think about it. Doesn't have to be a split second decision. There's always gonna be puppies in the future. I would just say you do your research on the breed, ask all of your questions. Definitely deep dive on her website. There's a lot of helpful information there. Maybe she has like recommendations on people who could talk to you about their adoption process from her. Overall she really helped calm my nerves about it. It's definitely a very special process getting a dog someone you're going to have for you know their lifetime. So it's good to have someone like Misty who just is on top of everything, even like medical stuff you know having everything organized tiptop shape, instructions just to kind of start you off. She even sends a little goodie bag to get them started with food and toys and you know their Snuggle puppy - just really thinks of everything. So just ask your questions, Do your research and
Anything else you'd like to add?
Jacqueline Baker: Not to much to add here, just, you know, really appreciate her. Her positivity and her willingness to answer so many questions. I know she's very busy, but, it's really nice to know that she is available, if needed or if anything random comes up. She is willing to answer and were able to get ahold of her. It's not like, you know, just a one done deal, goodbye forever. It's nice to know that we do have a little resource there. So I think that's probably the thing that exceeded my expectations the most.
