How does it feel to be an innovation award winner?

Marihan Abdelmaleck: Hello, Messie's family. My name is Mary Anne, and I'm truly honored to share my heart with you today on behalf of KDC and the Days of Harvest Project. Receiving this innovation award is such a humbling moment for us. It's more than recognition of a project. It's a testimony of what God is doing in Egypt and the Middle East. For our team and partner Ts, it's a reminder that when we come together in unity, God can do so much more than we imagined. We are so thankful to Messiano and to everyone who believes in innovation for the sake of the gospel. Thank you for honoring us with this award and for believing in the harvest. We are humbled, encouraged, and so excited for the harvest ahead.

Could you share a few details about the innovative project that was funded?

Marihan Abdelmaleck: The Days of harvest is a collaborative initiative burst out of a deep burden for the church in Egypt and the region. We partner with local congregations to equip and mobilize them for evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. It's hands on. We train pastors and leaders, serve side by side with churches in cities and villages, and create opportunities for believers to immediately put their training into practice through. This program we have been reaching on communities like gypsies in Tanta, Libyan Bedouins in Mina, and many Arabic speaking villages with little or no church presence. It's all about empowering local believers to share Jesus and establish strong, sustainable faith community.

What is the most innovative aspect of this project?

Marihan Abdelmaleck: What makes this initiative so special is that it's deeply rooted in our culture and context. It's not one size fits all model. We listen to the local churches, adapt their training to their needs, and bring different denominations together as one body of Christ. The program grows and improves through continuous feedback from the local churches themselves. Starting in Egypt with its spiritual influence on the Middle East gives us the opportunity to spark a ripple effect that can reach far beyond our borders.

What difference do you hope this project will make?

Marihan Abdelmaleck: Our prayer and dream are to see a united, equipped, and mobilized church in Egypt that ignites a movement of evangelism and church planting across the Middle East. We want to see believers confidently sharing their faiths, churches planting churches and new disciples growing into strong leaders. Ultimately this project is about creating a sustainable model that can multiply and bring transformation. To some of the most spiritual, significant, and challenging regions of the world, would you join us in prayer? Pray for unity among churches in Egypt. Pray for boldness for leaders and believers, and pray that God will use this project as a spark for revival throughout the Middle East. Blessings to you all from Kidisi.
