Lexi Kroft: The concept of freeze drying your breast Milkify is definitely a little bit newer. Even when we were following up with our pediatrician, they were really excited about it, but they didn't know all the details. Um I was able to actually visit the facility and they were able to walk me through each step. They sent me a bunch of reading material. They told me all about it when we inquired. So I felt super comfortable after talking to them directly around the process and I trusted them with my milk stash with child one and child two.
Emily Kidder: Milkify made me feel comfortable because of the level of scientific rigor that's involved in their freeze drying approach.
Danielle Mitchell: What made me nervous initially just about the idea of freeze dragging my breast milk. Um was an uncertainty of how the fluid content would compare. Um how the the safety aspects would go as far as like would my milk get mixed with someone else's? And so I was really thankful as a and to be able to go into Milkify and ask questions and see the process for myself. Um I really liked how they would batch prepare. So it was one client at a time in one freezer. So it, you know, it really satisfied any concerns that I had about um my milk getting mixed up with someone else's. Um I love the labeling process and the unique identification. And then once I got my milk back in the freeze dried, um vacuum sealed bags, I realized that they had measured the contents of water that had come out of each individual bag of my breast milk and written that down so that I could add the exact contents of water back into it um and really create a similar product.
Nicole Mesita: And um yeah, they did such a great job with the, every um, every step of it. I think there was like a video just explaining how to like store it all and how to get it packed up. So, um yeah, I was very impressed and it, the, the shipping and it all was like crazy quick. So I was um just really impressed by the first and then the last step. Um and every step in between they did such a great job.
Ava Tobey: The thing that made me the most anxious about sending away my milk is the process of sending away your milk, right. You work really, really hard to pump each individual bag and the thought that it could get ruined in transport just by thawing is pretty intimidating. I felt really confident with Milkify. They send you your own cooler, they give you very clear and specific instructions how to follow. I also really appreciated the communication with Pedro. I probably messaged him way more than I should have, but he was always really quick to respond and it went a long way for an anxious mom.
