Christopher Mark Anderson: Hi, my name is Chris Anderson. I'm the CEO of Generations legal services and a managing partner at Shine Wealth in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

What were the challenges you were facing before you started working with Mile One?

Christopher Mark Anderson: Yeah, you know, our primary challenge was just hitting the, hitting the wall. We are blessed with so many clients that want to work with us. But we needed a framework where we could solve problems. Do business planning, look at our people, our processes, our technology and find a way to do more with the people that we had and position ourselves for the growth that we were experiencing.

What did we do together to address those challenges (tools/disciplines/learnings/etc.)?

Christopher Mark Anderson: I think the biggest benefit that, that I've seen um trying to lead our group was uh Joel and the E OS system allowed us to think about how to solve problems and how to run the business before we started jumping in and trying to fix it or do something different. So it was a little bit of slow down to, to speed up for our team. But the tools within E OS and particularly Joel's ability to walk our team through learning those tools and how to apply them in a repeatable fashion with or without his help in the future was, was staggering. Um It is the most meaningful consulting exercise that I've been involved with in running various small businesses and it was uh a pleasure to work with them. We're seeing results instantly from the different tools that are inside the system in which Joel's help.

What have the outcomes been of the work we have done together (increased revenue/profit, better life balance, stronger teams, etc.)?

Christopher Mark Anderson: You, our outcomes include a meaningful, easy to understand. One year, three year business plan in particular, it includes a set of practices on how to operate on a day to day basis that have improved the productivity and brought our team together. We have the right people in the right seats now and we have agreement on what the priorities are and the rocks that we're all working on as well as a way to report back on a regular basis to each other. So we've seen increased profitability as a result of it and quite candidly, we are handling uh double the amount of business we did before with the same team by just reengineering ourselves with Joel's help and the help of the E US system.

What do you like best about working with Joel?

Christopher Mark Anderson: I had the opportunity to lead a management consulting firm for a number of years. And Joel is a unique consultant. His subject matter expert is, is deep and his cadence and the way that he brings a leadership team thoughtfully through the process was really impressive. Uh Joel listens better than most anybody that I've ever met. I, I really admire how quickly he listens and at the same time, firmly keeps a team moving together as you're in the different events that he's leading.
