Speaker: Morgan Lang, Partner Development Executive, Capgemini

Morgan Lang: My name is Morgan Lang. I'm a Microsoft partner development executive at Capgemini.

How have Microsoft’s support and resources enabled Capgemini to expand its SAP service offerings and client base?

Morgan Lang: The support we receive from Microsoft for SAP has helped us expand our client base immensely. I focus specifically on manufacturing, life sciences, auto and aerodefense clients. Through our work with Nick and the Microsoft SAP team, we've been able to identify multiple clients that both Capgemini and Microsoft are prioritizing and have gone together to the client to propose a better solution to them, and have also gotten new clients that Capgemini had not previously worked with or you know, were working with in other areas. So the partnership has really helped us to hone in on key clients that we needed to be focusing on in the current market within the industries of focus for us.

How has partnering with Microsoft enhanced the SAP solutions Capgemini delivers?

Morgan Lang: Partnering with Microsoft has given us quite a few options to enhance the solutions we're delivering. So I think we get kind of cutting edge intel on what is what the market is wanting as well as the newer technologies coming out. So I know we are pitching in a couple of clients right now, a component of AI and the SAP migration. We're also looking at including the surround perspective in the migrations that we're doing. And much of that has been based off of input from Microsoft on the current climate, as well as the current solutions and technologies that they are seeing in the market and pushing out to clients.

How does partnering with Microsoft for SAP solutions enhance Capgemini's market competitiveness and positioning?

Morgan Lang: Partnering with Microsoft for SAP Solutions has I believe really enhanced our competitive advantage on SAP migrations in the market. I think a lot of our competitors only think about the SAP component, and I think the fact that we are able to involve Microsoft solutioners in it is able to integrate a lot of the AI that is coming up right now. It's able to integrate surrounding technologies such as Power Platform and security work that is going to need to be in play during an SAP migration. I think also the funding that we're able to leverage through the partnership with Microsoft can help support a client in that migration and support our teams and being able to prove out the return on investment that a client would get in moving their SAP environment to the cloud.

How has integrating SAP with Microsoft solutions driven value for Capgemini clients?

Morgan Lang: Integrating SAP with Microsoft solutions I think is bringing immense value to our clients. I think one area we have been focusing on is the Power Platform surround that goes with SAP. So as that data is being moved at that as that SAP environment is up and running in the cloud, our clients are able to leverage Power Platform and really integrate that into the end solution of the SAP environment. I think also in this day and age security is a huge concern for quite a lot of companies, especially with AI coming into play. And so we're able to take the Microsoft security solutions and integrate that into the SAP migration solution or just SAP solutions that we're pitching to customers, which is enabling their environment to be much more secure and safe than it might be without the Microsoft solutions. And I think we're also able to leverage Microsoft's AI prowess in the market to automate some of that migration and then also optimize the SAP operation as it gets moved over to cloud.

What opportunities have Capgemini seen arise from participating in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP)?

Morgan Lang: I think we've been able to identify quite a few customers that were looking at SAP migrations and identify ones that are ready to have an AI component integrated, and been able to jointly identify with Microsoft, which clients those are that are both ready to adopt AI at that level and also are looking to migrate their SAP environment.
