How did you find your way to your current role at Microsoft?
JK: I actually found my way to my role at Microsoft via a friend, he was contacted by someone at Microsoft. He wasn't looking for a role but knew that I was. So he ultimately put me in touch with the person at Microsoft. And yeah, we went from there.
Could you share a few details about the favorite part of your role and the team at Microsoft?
JK: My favorite part of my role at Microsoft would be the collaboration with amazing people. I love the freedom for creativity that you have here. You're given full autonomy and trust to run with your own projects and initiatives. Use your, yeah, creativity and leveraging the skills that you have the interests that you have. And what I love about the team at Microsoft is that it's yeah, just filled with incredibly smart switched on empathetic people, you know, who are really fun to work with.
What stands out to you about the culture at Microsoft?
JK: What stands out to me about the culture at Microsoft is that, that everyone in the organization, from the top to bottom all live and breathe the growth mindset. The idea of being empathetic to the people that you work with. And it just creates an incredible culture of collaboration, creativity, kindness, everyone wants you to succeed. You, you just feel, you know, very, very well supported. And you really do see that from you know, across all levels of the organization both vertically and horizontally.
