What is your favorite Chamber Benefit and why?
Laura Garcia : Hello, my name is Laura Garcia. I am the founder and owner of Best Translation Services. I specialize in the mortgage and real estate industry and I'd like to talk to you about the benefit of becoming a member of the Mesa Chamber. It is valuable because of the support that they offer through networking groups of businesses owned by women and also businesses that may be owned in the industry that your business may operate in. Like mine operates in the mortgage industry. So I'm able to network with realtors with real estate brokers in both the residential and commercial property. And even more important, the Financial Institute lenders that support businesses in our communities, us having the opportunity to engage with them and to know about each other's businesses in many ways to connect being able to just get to know each other, not just hand each other our business card or our brochure and walk away but really build a relationship at a more, how can you say personal level. They're spent time when I didn't know what or who to ask about a certain struggling idea that I wanted to perfect. I wasn't certain if I had the proper idea or the proper pathway to develop or improve my marketing strategy and advertising method, but I was able to reach out to my mentors at the chamber and at the green flag program. Thank you Dan Pearcy, thank you Bob Nelson that have been a valuable support in me moving forward with my action plans for my business, especially in advertising and marketing. the support is, is very big and it is crucial to be able to have a successful business reaching the audience that we want to reach to be successful. And I want to thank thank you, Sally, Bob, Dan. Thank you uh the chamber for all the support mentoring and being able to connect with others in many areas in IT In advertising, CPA Tax, you know, tax advisors that you know, give all this free advice, free advice on how to have a successful business, especially when we're new in starting our business or want to just reorganize. Thank you once again, I appreciate all your support that you've given.
In 2023, how do you plan to use your Chamber benefits to improve your business?
Laura Garcia : One of the ways that I plan to use the benefit to improve my business this year for 2023 is continuing to network, continuing to network, um getting to know new vendors in my business and bringing in growth to the revenue that I need to get started. I'm barely starting this up and off the ground. And one way is to continue to know people, people in the industry, people that are possibly willing or wanting to invest in my business. And there's no better way than to continue to be engaged and be present at meetings and take part um with the Chamber of Commerce. Thank you for all.
What do you think is a Chamber benefit more people should take advantage of?
Laura Garcia : one benefit that I feel people need to be more aware of is the IT Support the IT Support. And the legal support once you start hiring people IT Is most crucial if your website isn't functioning right. Or if you don't know why you're not getting the rates that you should have. Um with your google search you need to find out why you need to find out what isn't developed informed right? If you um if you have questions and don't understand I thought it was just create a website and anybody who puts in my business name in google my business would come up and I've learned a lot and that's not the case. I didn't know I needed to build a business profile within business google and so forth. Um So one benefit is reach out as for IT Support. Information you know have your your website review to make sure that it is functioning properly. Um If you're not reaching your audience there won't be any um clients or anybody reaching out to you for your services. Um So please do ask for support and IT Is one of the supports that the chamber gives and I thank you once again for all of the support you give
