How many people are in the Business Risk team and what do they do?
Craig Simpson: We currently have 10 Business Risk Advisers, and this team has grown from 3 in 2.5 years, and I can see this continuing to grow as we develop our products and our membership base over the coming years. The role of the Business Risk Advisers is to ensure that our Members are well informed. So, we do a complete needs analysis, so we understand their business, and we provide options in terms of the covers that are available to us in the market as well as through MAS. We will also ensure that the Members have a full understanding of the covers that they do have and also the covers that they don't have, and what the cost would be if they want those covers. So it's a fully comprehensive, business advice service that we offer.
Why is Business Insurance important?
Craig Simpson: Business insurance is very important. It is the cornerstone of a business. If you could imagine saving all your life so that you can open a business, you start your business and there is a catastrophe, like a fire or an earthquake, and all the cash that you've put into your business to start it is down the drain. So that's the first thing is to ensure that we can protect the financial assets that you own as a business owner. And also to ensure that we create some form of, certainty that if there was a loss or an incident, that you would be back in business as soon as possible.
