How would you describe your physical and emotional health BEFORE learning the Stop. Dieting. Forever. process?
Mars Lord: I really am enjoying this Stop Dieting Forever program by Jennifer Dent Brown. My physical and emotional health before learning the stock dieting forever process was actually, I like to think that it was okay, but it wasn't great. Yes, it was okay, but it wasn't great. And actually I found since beginning this program that what I'm doing is I'm more conscious of my physical and my emotional health. My emotional health is just getting better and better and better and my physical health is as well. But in more gradual steps and I know that as I continue to lose weight, which just seems to drop off on its own that my physical health will just continue to improve. This is the most amazing program.
What result have you gotten from following the process?
Mars Lord: So because I've been following this process, what I've found is that my weight is just chipping away, just slowly vanishing and going down. And actually, even I was thinking about this the other day when I sort of wasn't thinking about the process and doing the things that I needed to do. And I saw a slight increase in my weight. But as soon as I clocked that I hadn't been following the process doing it, I thought, well, let me see what happens if I do this. And it's strange because even just the, oh, I must get back to following the process was all I needed to be thinking for the weight to start to go down again. So the result that I've gotten is that I'm losing my, am I at my preferred weight yet? No, not quite. But guess what I will be and I will be because I'm just going to keep collecting the data. I'm going to keep doing the things that Jennifer has taught me that the resources in the program offered to me. And then one day I'm gonna come back and I'm going to give the testimonial that says, see how hot I was before. I'm just as hot now but with less weight.
Why is this weight loss process different from a diet?
Mars Lord: What I like about this process is it's very different to a diet. Nobody's telling me what I need to eat when I need to eat it. How many mouthfuls or spoonfuls or grams and ounces and pounds of things that I need to eat. And actually what the reason it's different is because it's not just thinking about the food. It's thinking about my mind, my motivation, the places that I'm in where I do these things and it's very different because it feels like something I'm crafting for myself. So I don't have to follow someone else's prescription. I'm crafting my own prescription and watching my weight come off and I mean, I'm absolutely rubbish at doing the thing that I'm told to do the way I'm told to do it all the way I have to do it. So this suits me so wonderfully because I get to craft my own process within the stop dieting forever process. Win, win.
Have you stopped dieting FOREVER?
Mars Lord: What's funny is that even though I'm still in the process and even though I'm still losing weight, I have actually stopped starting forever. I just have, I don't think I'm on a diet. I don't feel I'm on a diet. I don't live, like I'm on a diet. I'm managing my mind and I'm just eating and I'm collecting my data and my weight is dropping off. So, yeah, I've most definitely stopped dieting forever is I wouldn't do this weight loss any other way. This is working. It has me healthy, it has me happy. It has me developing the shape that I want to develop. Love it.
