Andrew Williams : What I was feeling and going through before I started working with Mandie was a little uncertainty of where to go next. I had just finished a half marathon for the first time in my life. And, prior to that, I was doing a lot of weight lifting. Was kind of flying solo. So, I really wanted to get some more direction. I wanted to get some new routines. I wanted to get some more feedback and break out of the comfort zone, and really start trying to push for something new. Not settle, not go back to the same routines, and really change my mindset into focusing on being more uncomfortable.
Andrew Williams : What Mandie and her program did for me that made the most difference was the intentionality every day. The positive check-ins in the morning, setting our intentions early, following up with the workout routines at the end of the day, sharing our wins. Those regular check-ins kept me on track, and kind of showcased to me where I was mentally, where I was physically, trying to fight past some of those. I just didn't feel like it that day. Those things really pushed forward the narrative of really completing the entire process, because it's more about a lifestyle and you actually really actually adjusting, having a positive mentality, and an outlook on life allows you to have an easier time shifting towards these new goals. Stating your wins and sharing them with a friend, and sharing them with somebody that you you can talk about actually gives you some validation in your process. But, even checking in on the diet, checking in on the workouts, sending videos in, it was a constant connection that the program allowed for. That allowed me to actually feel like I was still getting that catered attention, even though it was through distance. Mandie's in Austin, I'm in Dallas, so I still never lost touch.
Andrew Williams : What I've achieved and the results I've gotten have been actually increasing my total body body weight, and actually decreasing my body fat percentage while in the program. I started off the program, I think around 206 lbs. I got to 210 or 211, and actually dropped from about 16% body fat to 12% body fat. And, so, but how that's helped me now is now as, as I'm approaching running season again, I'm gonna wind up being more muscle, less fat carrying around. And, I think that's helped my, my legs trim down, my middle waist trim down. I feel better with my shirt off. I don't mind going out, and getting a tan, and hanging out by the pool. But, it's, it's really more of a sense of I, I've dropped some of the mask that I had. I actually feel a little bit smaller. But, I'm way stronger than I was. And, so, now I feel like I'm actually at the perfect starting point to really start building. If I wanted to build again, I could build. I'm gonna get really, really healthy position. If I wanted to go running, I go do that. I was in a great position now, after this process.
