Linda Shea: Hi, my name is Linda Shea, I came from back in north California and then I moved here. Thanks to MakeMyMove. I am a Team Lead for the stocking team overnight at Walmart in Jasper, Indiana. How MakeMyMove helped me? It helped me pay for the storage and delivery of all of my furniture and belongings to Jasper, Indiana. Um I moved into Huntingburg, Indiana with my sister as her husband is a truck driver. So he's only here on weekends so I'm here to keep her company. Why can't why my community is a good fit. It's a nice quiet community. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. I'm grateful for MakeMyMove for giving me the opportunity to move here, making my move a little less stressful paying for the equipment and everything I brought with me. Um today I am looking out my window on this beautiful sunny Huntingburg weather day at my favorite view of the beautiful tree swaying in the wind, at the nice greenery surrounding the pond in the yard. I am so thankful for MakeMyMove for letting me have this opportunity to move here and enjoy this peaceful, quiet community. Thank you
Tell us about MakeMyMove - how has MakeMyMove helped you?
Linda Shea: A lot of people at MakeMyMove have been very joyful and nice to talk to. They've given me direction and ideas on where I can go, what could do in the community and the things to see.
Where did you move and why is your new community a good fit?
Linda Shea: I moved here from California, California got to be a little bit too much these days. Um, plus almost all of my family lives here. My next step is to try to get my daughter and my son and his family to move with me, to hopefully we can get the whole family here.
What excited you about your community's incentive package?
Linda Shea: What excited me most about the community and the incentive that it gave me to move here was I've been putting off moving here because of the expensive moving here. But thank you to the incentive that I received from Dubois County, it was a great help and a big motivator in getting me here sooner.
