Introduce yourself (your name, where you're from, what you do)
Andrea Zwiebel: Hi, I'm Andrea and I moved to Indiana 15 years ago. I think that Wabash is the perfect combo of a small city plus quality of life. And now my husband and I have a family, two kids, a home with a big yard for our dogs. One of our favorite things to do is to go to the farmer's market in Wabash and sell our pottery. You can check us out on social media as Small Onion Studio if you want to take a peek. We think Wabash is just a super great place for young families for friends that come to visit for our parents when they come to town. There's always something happening in Wabash between performances at the Honeywell Center or First Fridays. All the small boutiques in downtown. Everything's family owned and it's just such a wonderful environment. So, in the words of Billy
What part of town do you live in and what do you love about your neighborhood?
Andrea Zwiebel: My husband and I decided to purchase a house in Wabash and we have a historic home. We love it. It's perfect for our two kids and we have two dogs. And so we have a big yard, lots of space within walking distance of downtown. And we love being part of our neighborhood.
What's a must-do event or activity that remote workers should experience in their first year?
Andrea Zwiebel: Our family's favorite thing to do is to go to the farmer's market in downtown Wabash. And so we go every Saturday in the summertime and we sell our pottery. So if you want to check us out on Facebook or Instagram were small onion studio. Um, we love having this little side hustle where we hand make pottery and sell it at the farmer's market. There's so many vendors, live music, food trucks. It's definitely the cool place to hang out on Saturday mornings.
Lastly, end with an invitation. Invite potential new neighbors to come join your community!
Andrea Zwiebel: In the words of Billy Madison, all the cool kids are doing it. You ain't cool unless you move to Wabash Indiana.
