Why did you decide to join the Majka Breakfast Challenge?
Gal: I decided to do the breakfast challenge kind of as a surprise to myself, so thankfully amazing facebook and instagram advertising. I was offered some Majka products and I said definitely, um, I'm a breast feeding and pumping mother and always looking to increase my breast milk supply. So I tried the bites totally obsessed and then I was offered to do the breakfast challenge and immediately said, yes, I thought how exciting that I can be part of an empowering facebook community that encourages moms to be healthy to eat and then also just engage with each other. So really I was just excited by the opportunity and it took me maybe less than a second to decide that yes, I definitely wanted to be part of it.
What was your biggest accomplishment (or breakthrough) that happened during the challenge?
Gal: my biggest accomplishment during the challenge was just being consistent and honest with myself, so as a breastfeeding and pumping mother who's pretty aware of her milk supply, I'm pretty obsessed with nutrition and hydration, but then the hard part is being consistent every day having supplements everyday eating well. So the breakfast challenge really pushed me to do this every single day to really give time for my wellness. And I was successful. So really exciting, you know, every morning drinking coconut water, drinking Majka products, um replenishing electrolytes, getting protein, eating healthy. So for me that was huge, you know, being so concerned with my supply is one thing, but then having a plan and then bringing that into action every single day was a big accomplishment and a really rewarding one too, because it showed me that I can do it and things can become a ritual and a habit pretty quickly. And then also having this wonderful reminder of beautiful posts and my own posts and getting so much love for them every day was again just really encouraging to continue what I was doing
What was your favorite part about the challenge?
Gal: my favorite part of the breakfast challenge was engaging with all the other moms. It was really, really exciting to take a picture of my breakfast post about my breakfast, see all the comments and engage and also see everyone else's comments. Of course some of the cutest kids ever. So, always nice to see amazing baby pictures and just feeling connected to moms all over the country. So that was really, really awesome. And definitely my favorite part, I look forward to getting onto facebook, getting onto the group, scrolling through pictures and being involved. You know, encouraging moms to keep doing what they're doing, helping moms when they're having hard days. You know, just by saying, hey, so sorry, care about you. Thinking about you, check in with us. Just having that support system was such a special thing. I don't want it to end and I think it's such a great experience for everyone who was involved.
