Kristal Hall: Hi, I'm Krystal Hall. I'm a master stylist and certified trichologist, and the salon owner of Glamorous Styles Hair Studio located right here in the Marlow Heights community of Prince George's County. For over 15 years, I have been offering cosmetic hair solutions and for the last eight years I've been serving in a paramedical capacity helping clients who suffer with hair loss and or scalp disorders

Kristal Hall: It's very simple, filling the void in the community and listening to the clients for over 20 years, I've built my successful clientele off of those principles, being able to actually communicate and here what is being said from the client, from the chair. Being able to listen to their concerns and be transparent about their services, about their hair condition, about the history of their hair practices and how it is relevant for their services. At that moment, 20 years I have offered cosmetic styling services and in that time I've seen clients that suffer with scalp disorders and hair loss on such a grave level. I sent them out to the proper medical specialties two and what I thought was to get answers that they were looking for and those answers came back unspoken. So I used my education, my training. I leveled up in knowledge so that I can be able to assist my clients in a greater capacity, especially when it came to hair loss and scalp disorders. I wanted to be able to not just be a hairstylist, but I wanted to be a person that would be known for caring for the hair and restoring the hair, recalibrating the system. To allow clients to successfully maintain and grow their hair naturally

Kristal Hall: Our number one most requested service at our brick and mortar location is going to be the GS Signature silk press service. This is the number one service. Some of the terms can be interchangeable between a silk blowout or silk press system or Silk out. If you're all over social media I'm sure you've seen the corresponding videos. We do offer an actual treatment that is called Silk Out but our signature silk press service is actually more aligned with technique and the products that we use on the back bar. This comes complete with a scalp detox, a hair cleanse a hair moisturizer under our premier steamer and we finish it off with a trim blow and a soak out with our flat iron system. Some of our other popular services is going to be our consultation services. I offer consultation services for hair loss scalp disorders and I also offer nutritional wellness consultations for those that are interested in finding out what foods are agreeable with them. If I have clients that have taken on plant based diets or gluten free diets then I have some biomarkers and systems in place to help build a nutritional package for them as well.

Kristal Hall: What is your business philosophy and what does it mean to you? My philosophy that I like to keep at the forefront is that you arrived here on purpose and we are happy to help you achieve healthier hair and a healthier scalp. We do that by offering top notch customer service in a clean and healthy environment. We continuously want to keep the dialogue open by listening to our clients and how we will be able to help them. We want to customize services that fits the needs and the budgets of our clients. And we want to create solutions for longevity.
