Brittany Whatley: Hi everyone, my name is Brittany Whatley and I am the owner and operator BeeKlean It is a residential cleaning service here in the DMV.

Brittany Whatley: I've always had a knack for cleaning. It's just something that comes naturally to me even when I was a kid, I was a child and my parents didn't have to tell go clean up your room. I just would do it. I would clean up my sister's room, I would clean up their rooms. It's just something that I would do because I understood even at that young age that everything has its own place. I love for things to look nice and I love for things to smell good. Like even when I would visit relatives, I would reorganize my cousin's closet full of toys and clothes. Just because that was something that I realized that brought a calmness to me even if I didn't have the words at that age. I knew like it was very therapeutic for me. My first job in high school, it was during the summer time at the local university, I cleaned the dorms, I did that for four summers straight. And even after I graduated college, once I started working full time. I realized that I wasn't doing something that I could see myself doing making a living off of for forever. And I started writing down jotting down things that comes naturally to me and cleaning was at the top of the list. So the following year I decided to turn that thought into a reality and I came up with the name and I got a logo made and I started pursuing be clean as a side hustle. I did that for a couple of years and then once I moved here, I started taking it more seriously. That was around 2018. And so I started putting more into it, telling more people about it. And then 2019, it hit me that I was like, I can do this full time. So I decided that the following year, which was 2020, that I would quit my job. So I did August 31 I left my job and I started pursuing be clean full time. And honestly, it's one of the like bravest and best decisions I've ever made because it's something that I truly, truly believe in. It's something I'm very passionate about, it's something that I have a love for. And so in 2021 I'm just ready to elevate and expand and for more people to learn about BeeKlean.

Brittany Whatley: My top services are standard and deep cleaning and organizing. The standard cleanings include dusting, sanitizing, vacuuming, sweeping mopping of the living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen, as well as simple organizing and decluttering. The deep cleaning includes everything in a standard cleaning but more attention to detail to high, low dusting. So for example, the baseboards, air vents, ceiling fans as well as the inside of the oven and the fridge. With organizing this is for areas in your home that require a little bit more TLC. So, for example, the kitchen pantry, the kitchen cabinets, the bathroom closets or your bedroom closets. Any of those things we can handle for you.
