What about the WDF & Delivery Workshop did you find most valuable?
TIM RICHARDSON: The most valuable piece of attending the wash dry fold and pick up and delivery workshop was primarily the workbook that they went through. Uh Dave and Carla's standard operating procedures uh and actually going to the store and watching the processors work, the drivers explain how they deliver. Uh And the managers and how they actually motivate and pay for the processing of the clothes was invaluable and of itself, the workshop consisted of uh conferences. Um There were dinners afterwards and there was a lot of networking and fellowshipping between uh the laundromat owners. Um This will be my first store. It's going to open in about six weeks. Uh And I just attended the wash dry for pickup delivery workshop about three weeks ago. So a lot of the things that they're doing right now with their 14 years experience, I'm going to implement on day one. And I feel like I will jump start uh my business and hit the ground running. So I highly recommend attending it. And if you already own a store, um there are a lot of processes and procedures and excellent ideas that are time tested uh that will help you increase your business.
Was it worth the investment?
TIM RICHARDSON: I would definitely say it's worth the investment. It's a two day very, very intensive workshop, hands on training, explanations and actually seeing what's going on. So there are a lot that you can get out of the book. But to actually go behind the scenes and see what's going on in a million dollar operation was worth every penny. I will probably recover 10 X of the amount I invested to see Dave and Carla in action, their managers, their processors and their drivers.
Who would you recommend this workshop for?
TIM RICHARDSON: I may be a little biased on the recommendation piece, but I would say who's ever opening their first store should attend this workshop. It will save you a lot of time and a lot of grief on a trial and error standpoint, if you already own a store and you're looking to scale more than one store. This is a workshop for you. Also, if you have the capital and you're going to acquire a store and change some operating procedures. This is the workshop for you. So I would think a lot of people would be very interested in attending this workshop that are starting their store scaling their store or trying to expand the marketplace that they are in.
