Speaker: Jean

What did life look like before END? What made you decide to work with us?

Jean: I am a 64-year-old professional living in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. I am a professional that works too much. I spend time with two daughters, two grown daughters, four little grandsons and two aging parents living in their home. I have been without a husband for almost 30 years and dated fairly often yet, fairly unsuccessfully. I can see why the pre-END Jean was not successful. It's my hope that the new, post-END Jean will be more successful in finding the secure guardian of her soul. The program was great, and lots of new lessons. Gotta trust the process, gotta do the work.

What are the three biggest benefits to working in END?

Jean: I think the first one was, I'm not alone. I'm not the only quality woman out there that is spending nights alone that's wishing that they had someone to share their life with. So, being part of a like-minded community, I think, was a benefit. The lessons on everything, specifically feminine lead, attachment styles, and all the work reviewing past relationships to see what hadn't worked for me in the past and establish the opposite of that, which would work for me better in the future. And for me goes without saying, coach Rebecca was fabulous. So those would be my three.

What was your biggest breakthrough while in the program?

Jean: I think that my biggest breakthrough in the program was being more feminine. I certainly felt I was a feminine woman in the past but can understand how my driver, my personal strengths, my business attitude, my checking the boxes interview style was not attractive and I'm still struggling wearing a white shirt. Oh, well! The biggest breakthrough being more feminine, being a little more in my body and a little less in my head. It's certainly been a process and I still have a ways to go, but I've made some real strides there. Thank you.

What would you tell others who are thinking about joining the program?

Jean: Same thing Nike tells us: Just do it! Find a way to put the financial resources together and you'll be further ahead. It was a journey. And those of us, hard working, single moms, single women, young women, old women, not moving forward in the way they want to or believe they should be – You need someone to show you the way. You wanna get better at downhill skiing? You take some lessons! You wanna learn how to get to Carnegie Hall? Yeah. Practice. That's what I think, other women should know about joining the program.

Is there anything else you'd like to add about your experience in END?

Jean: When was the last time you really invested in yourself? You can't make a better investment than investing in yourself. The END program is amazing. Lots of things to learn, lots of things to practice.
