Speaker: Kevin Ofori-Atta, Assembler/ Machine Operator

What kind of job are you looking for? (General Labor, order puller, assembler machine operator, forklift operator, shipping & receiving etc)

Kevin Ofori-Atta: Hi, my name is Kevin of Foria. I am looking uh for a position within the manufacturing field uh particularly as a assembler or a machine operator. I am interested in the second or third shift hours that are available. Thank you.

Tell us about your last 2-3 jobs including your job title, length of employment, what you liked about each job and why you left

Kevin Ofori-Atta: My last three jobs were customer service in inside sales based positions. I uh took time off to uh pursue a per a personal business and landed a uh certification uh with the occupational Safety and health administration, OSHA uh introduction to Safety and health management. 7500. Uh My job title as a driver with return mates signifies my uh transition into a warehouse manufacturing environment. What I liked about the job uh was a great environment and uh duty uh to get the task done all the tasks throughout the day. Um As a remote call center agent uh with momentum Solar, I was able to work hard meet company goals and uh make very good commission at uh Long Depot. I was able to learn about the finance industry. Um but all these jobs uh won't allow me to work overnight and attend appointments uh that my new schedule requires.

Tell us about any expertise you have (eg forklift, assembly, s&r, degrees or certifications etc) and how long you have had that expertise

Kevin Ofori-Atta: I have light experience using a uh pallet jack or an electronic pallet jack. Um I'm still yet to get my forklift certification. I have a certification with the uh with OSHA Occupational uh uh safety and health administration, uh 7500 introduction to safety and health management. And I am next looking to get uh the general industry uh certification as well. Right. Yeah.

Let us know what days and shifts you are available for, your expected pay range, and anything else that will help us find you the right job

Kevin Ofori-Atta: I'm able to work Monday through Sunday or a swing shift. I do prefer the second shift or an evening or overnight position. Um, I'm looking to make in the range of, uh, $19 to $20 an hour for this, uh, particular position as well. Thank you.

Any last thoughts that weren't covered in the interview that can help us find the correct position for you

Kevin Ofori-Atta: I do prefer weekly pay and direct deposit. However, if the agency does not provide a weekly pay, that's perfectly fine. I'm more interested in a uh favorable commute and a nice uh uh working environment as well.
