How has LifeGuides supported you?
Uve Hodgins: Hi, I'm Uve and I work at SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management. And I've been using LifeGuides for several months now and have enjoyed it very much. I found the hardest part about LifeGuides is picking the actual Life Guide that I wanted because there were so many that I did like, I narrowed it down to one and I wanted someone who is just like me in the same stage of life and we could share experiences. However, my 23 year old daughter chose someone in her seventies because she's in transition right now, a recent college graduate and wanted someone much older with life experience and much more wisdom. And I think this shows that my employer is very forward thinking and caring and that also makes me more productive at work as well. We all have our own struggles and we all need a little help now and then. So thank you, LifeGuides.
Why is LifeGuides different from other similar products or services?
Uve Hodgins: I think LifeGuides differs from other similar products or services because it's presented in a very creative way. I can actually see the faces and video clips of each person who is a Life Guide. And I think that's a novel, innovative way to present the choices that are out there. And I like it very much.
What should people know about LifeGuides?
Uve Hodgins: What should people know about LifeGuides? I think LifeGuides should be looked at as a friend. You could talk to real people with real experiences, but it is not as clinical as perhaps a therapist. But it's also you, something that you go on your own pace and you put into it what you want. I for example, I keep a little notebook or I keep little notes of every session that I have so that I can go back and look at what I've learned and use it in my life.
